This summary of the Third Annual Multifamily Office Study undertaken by the Family Wealth Alliance notes that the emerging multifamily office industry continues to grow and to expand the wide range of services offered to clients. Most notable in this regard is the increase in the use of alternative investments – hedge funds, real estate and private equity. Of the 68 firms that took part in the study, Athena Capital was one of only 11 featured in an accompanying profile which focused on Athena’s unusual experience in alternative investments, including the design and implementation of specialized portfolios of hedge funds and private equity funds, and unique access to the most superior special investment managers.
