Karen Parker Feld, Ph.D.

Portfolio Manager, Director of Asset Allocation Strategies

Karen provides broad guidance to the Athena team in the areas of asset allocation strategy (both strategic and tactical), quantitative portfolio analysis, and foreign exchange research and strategy. She is a member of the portfolio management team for Olive Tree, Athena’s multi-asset class fund. Karen is the Founder and Chief Executive of KPF Global Investment Strategies, a registered investment advisor based in Kensington, New Hampshire.

Prior to starting KPF Global, Karen co-founded and served as Chief Investment Officer of Artemis Financial Advisors, a wealth-management firm based in Boston. Previously, Karen was a senior portfolio manager and member of the portfolio and asset allocation committees at the Harvard Management Company. She also held senior investment positions at Wellington Management, the Council on Foreign Relations, and Chase Manhattan Bank. Karen's expertise lies in the areas of asset allocation, foreign exchange, and global macroeconomic research.

Karen holds a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University and an A.B. in economics and public policy, summa cum laude, from Princeton University. The recipient of numerous awards and honors, Karen was a Fulbright Scholar and a Labouisse Fellow.
