Doug Cohen talks Market Conditions with The Wall Street Journal
Athena’s Doug Cohen, managing director, portfolio management, was quoted in The Wall Street Journal on March 19, 2020, sharing his analysis of market conditions, including how value and cyclically oriented stocks had fared in the recent downturn. “Most of the major averages have been carried by the growth darlings,” Doug noted, of previous market conditions. “There were a lot of stocks that were left behind, a lot of more value, cyclically oriented stocks. They never quite got the lift in the good days, and now they’re kind of being penalized with everything else as well.”
